...because home doesn't happen overnight.

I hope you had as much fun reminiscing about your favorite childhood toys as I did reading about each and every single one of them.  Barbies, My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, banana bikes, books, Big Wheels, swing sets, Legos, Cabbage Patch Dolls, Skip-Its and Lite Brite – oh my!  Now that takes me back.  The good ol’ days. Thank you all so much for participating in the Black & Decker Junior Power Tool Workshop and DIY Books Giveaway.  I don’t want giveaways to take over House*Tweaking, but I do like to host them every now and then to show my gratitude for you taking time out of your busy days to check in on me and my doings.  THANK YOU!

Congratulations to Joe who enjoyed G.I. Joe {go figure!} toys when he was a kid and also to Kat who was perfectly content playing in a tree in her backyard that took on the role of fort, spaceship, pirate ship, castle, or house depending on the day.  I’ll be forwarding your email addresses to Black & Decker shortly so you may receive your prizes.  Thanks to Black & Decker for sponsoring the giveaway and offering DIYer’s like myself the tools and resources needed to turn a house into a home.  Even if you didn’t win H*T’s giveaway, you can still enter to win Black & Decker yard tools and accessories over on their Facebook page as part of the Recharge Your Life sweepstakes.

Yea! Thanks for the giveaway. I never win anything and I’m so excited. I have a brand new Niece and will get her started on diy right away!! I can’t wait to play with the Black & Decker workbench with her.
