I’m obsessed with Batman. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t obsessed with The Dark Knight. I have a scar on my leg from creeking in high school and getting my shoe caught on a barbed wire fence, causing the wire to slice open my calf. I once grabbed Gavin Rossdale’s ass at a concert. I have forced my husband to check under our bed for rogue killer clowns.

Let’s get personal! I have a rare blood type and my husband is actually the same blood type as me. Which proves we are perfect for each other. Oh and I have a boy middle name (Michael) and he has a girl middle name (Lindsay). :)

My eyebrows are different shapes. One is higher and more arched while the other is flat. The difference is magnified when I smile, so in photos I look more than a little unbalanced. People rarely seem to notice it, though, so I guess I’m the only one paying that much attention!

I’m a heat hoarder. If there is an accessible heat vent in my home you can count on finding me directly in front of it or on top of it. As a kid I used to pull a blanket over the top of the side table and sit directly on the vent in my own “sauna tent”.

My biggest fear is being trapped in my car in the water, my dad used to think it was funny to act like he was going to drive into water. I’ve been terrified of it since!

Well I am 33 years old and have 3 girls and am petrified of the dark. If my husband(who I have been with since I was 15) has to leave for the night I go to my parents and sleep there because there is no way I am staying home alone.

1.) In high school before every basketball game, I HAD to wash my feet and brush my teeth in the locker room while getting ready. I’m not sure why it became a tradition or how it started, but I did it all 4 years! 2.) I’m TERRIFIED of frogs :( I don’t know why. I’d rather see a snake anyday over those ugly green hoppers.

The only person who doesn’t drool over my cooking is my soon to be hubby. To him, the more bland the food is the better (can you say picky?) but I love him anyway. And yes, I typically end up cooking two different things for dinner… Something yummy for me and his four yr old and something bland and boring for him.

Almost every time I go to the doctor with a medical mystery- keep getting pneumonia and don’t think it’s CF like the last doctor says, foot hurts and don’t know why (stress fracture), and feel terrible and don’t know why (UTI), I find out I have either a bone in the wrong place or an extra bone. I’m working on my Ph.D. at a med school and always joke that I should change one of the M.D.’s skeleton kits to match me.

I have a scar on the inside of my left thigh from when I thought it would be a good idea to cartwheel down the stairs of my house…got a little stuck on a wire metal hanger, oops. What can I say, I was a daredevil when I was little!

I think getting along with animals is easier than getting along with people. I love sweets but vary by season which are my favorites–cupcakes and hot chocolate in the winter and ice cream and cookies in the summer. She is two and her breath can smell like crackers and be hot and all up in my air space, but I don’t care!

When I was 5, I slipped while climbing on the swing set and bit my tongue, left a scar. I have large feet for my height, size 11, about 5’5″, they were nicknamed canal boats when I was growing up. I have some sort of fear of using people’s names (given or otherwise) to their face, only my parents, grandparents, sister, and a couple of close friends in the past, and pets. Have never called my husband anything, except at our wedding (don’t know if that counts since I was just repeating someone else), although I can say his name on the phone to someone else and he might be right in front of me.

Stesse, I’m sorry about your cat, we’ve lost 2 in the last year. There are places that can make pet hair into yarn and knit things, you’d probably have to have a good amount.

Dana, I admire you for getting so much accomplished on your new house. We moved into our house 2 years ago, had so many plans for it, but have a hard time making decisions and following through when we do make up our minds.

Anywho, a couple of things about me is I am obsessive about my family washing their hands and keeping their shoes off the carpet (who isn’t right) and I talk to my sister everyday on the phone for hours while wearing my bluetooth. I even talk to her while I’m working! (I work from home doing accounting so I can talk all day :) She also works from home. Sounds excessive heh?

I am absolutely obsessed with homes. Four years ago, I bought a home and was able to do whatever I wanted with it. Three years later, I want to do it all over again… to another home. I just love looking at old broken down homes and think of all the things I would do to bring it back to life. I am OCD when it comes to being organized, maybe that comes from growing up in a 1,055 sq. ft. home with 3 brothers and 11 sisters (same mom and dad). Yes you heard right, 15 kids in a 3 bedroom home.

Let’s get personal. I have a two and four year old and bare walls that I’ve been pledging to hang stuff on for 2 years! I need some inspiration, and a nap.

Im not a huge fan ice cream – I only eat it maybe once or twice a year. When I do get it I only take a couple bites then give it to my husband.

When I was born, my right foot was bent up towards my leg to where my toes were almost touching my ankle/shin area. My dad claims he was the one who saw it first, even before the doctor, and thought it was a club foot. It ended up just being bent from being in my mom’s tummy and my parents were told to massage it every night for the first three months of my life. My foot turned out just fine and I ended up growing up to be involved in cross-country and track. :)

Let’s get personal! I’m not a germaphobe but I can’t stand being barefoot. I wear flip flops around the house the second I get out of bed. I also always have to have nail polish on my finger nails. When I see other people without nail polish it secretly makes me cringe… something about naked fingernails… strange I know.

My left ear sits about a half an inch higher than my right ear. It’s not terribly noticeable unless I’m wearing my glasses, when it’s super obvious because its impossible to get them to sit straight:)

I have a weird thing for rocks — I find that while away on vacation, a unique rock is the best souvenir from the trip, anniversary, day get away, engagement etc. And I love to mark on them what they represent. Strange, maybe? But I find having them around the house is a great reminder of all the fun my fiance and I have had.
