...because home doesn't happen overnight.

*THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.*

Congrats to Aimee who, like me, has a baby girl and two older boys that make breastfeeding on-the-go necessary.

I’ve breastfed all three of my kiddos – some longer than others – so you would think I’d be a pro at it by now. Not so. I’ve yet to master the discreet task of breastfeeding in public. With two older, busy kiddos around this time, I often find myself needing to nurse Mabrey in public but I don’t always feel completely comfortable doing it. It’s not that I’m overly modest. In fact, quite the opposite is true. At home, I’m free to nurse whenever, wherever and however I like. But I have a hard time keeping myself covered up in public.

In the past, I’ve always used a baby blanket or burp cloth to cover myself and my baby. All the nursing covers I’d seen looked like big thick bibs that surely made onlookers wonder, “Hey, is that woman getting ready to eat a rack of ribs or does she have her boobs out under there feeding a baby?” Either way, they weren’t thoughts I necessarily wanted strangers thinking about me.

But my opinion on nursing covers changed several weeks ago when a H*T reader/owner of Pretty Well Covered was kind enough to send me one of the nursing covers she sells. She wasn’t asking for anything in return, just thought I would like it. And she was right!

The cover is light, thin, transparent and pretty {!} – nothing like any of the other nursing covers I’ve seen. It’s great for summer or warmer climates as you don’t have to worry about you or your baby overheating. And I love that it offers privacy but still allows you to see your baby without lifting the cover up, exposing yourself.

It’s even pretty enough to be worn when not nursing. What?! You heard read me right. I layer it over a supportive nursing tank for an easy, breezy assemble and I’m good to go. I’m ready to nurse in public at any moment. No searching through the diaper bag for the cover.

Even though Bec didn’t ask for anything in return, I loved the nursing cover so much that I asked her if she’d like to offer one up as a giveaway for H*T readers. She happily agreed! See entry details below.

PRIZE: one Pretty Well Covered breastfeeding coverlet {H*T readers can also score free shipping on their orders until May 31st, 2012. Simply use the code HOUSETWEAKING at checkout. Be sure to choose your appropriate size by referring to the international sizing chart!}

RULES: You must be 18 years old to enter and have a shipping address within the U.S., Canada, U.K., New Zealand or Australia. No P.O. boxes please. One entry per email address.

HOW TO ENTER: Leave a comment on this post proclaiming “COVER ME!”

DEADLINE: Enter before Thursday, May 17th at 9:00 p.m. EST. One random winner will be announced Friday, May 18th.

WHILE YOU’RE AT IT: Since we’re talking mom stuff today… How did you spend Mother’s Day? I’ll go first. Mine was great. The boys made my morning with homemade gifts. Layne’s was a book called ‘Why I Love My Mom’ and included pics of me with ginormous breasts…goes right along with the whole breastfeeding giveaway today! Everett drew me a picture of the two of us ‘shakin’ our booties.’ After breakfast, a shower, and some housekeeping, HH kicked me out of the house alone while he watched all 3 kids for a few hours. I felt bad leaving him. He wasn’t feeling well. Both of the boys have colds. And Mabrey is still hit-and-miss with a bottle. But I did venture out on my own and was surprised at how quickly I could get in and out of the car without kids and a pumpkin seat. I didn’t do anything extravagant but I tried to take my time and enjoy the quiet. I bought a few things for the Underdog’s master bathroom since we’ll be needing to use it in just two weeks. I had a quiet lunch by myself and scarfed my food down in record time. I’m not use to having time to eat! Finally, I stopped by the library and borrowed the movie ‘Hugo’ and the book ‘The Elle Decor Home.’ Then I headed back to our apartment where everyone was alive and well. HH promptly hugged me and said, “I don’t know how you do it.” We had takeout from our favorite sandwich and wrap place. We all ate together in the living room {something we never do!} and watched ‘Hugo’ while we devoured dinner. It was the perfect day. I had some me time and some family time.

cover me! :) (I have two toddler boys and – most likely – a girl on the way)

14.May.2012

OMG!!! This is so cute! COVER ME!!!!! Pretty please! We are in the same boat, #3 is still breastfeeding and at nearly 4 months, I’ve yet to master feeding in public. We use a blanket, but it overheats her. I usually go to the car and do it, which is a big inconvenience. Love these!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I would love to win one of these. I am currently breastfeeding and my little girl hates the giant, heavy nursing cover and I hate the message it sends; “LOOK AT ME! I’M BREAST-FEEDING OVER HERE!” This seems like a great alternative.

My Mother’s Day was great. Got to spend time with both the grandma’s and the kiddos got to swim and exhaust themselves in a friend’s pool. All followed by a good night’s sleep.

How beautiful! I love this! Cover ME

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

I spent my “first” mother’s day pregnant with our first. My husband made me a big breakfast (waffles, strawberries, juice, etc.), then we hosted our moms for lunch

14.May.2012

COVER ME!! I have a 5 month old, and use one of those “bib” nursing covers…which does require some digging in the bag to get!! These are adorable!!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

I spent mother’s day throwing a good friend of mine her very first baby shower! What a great way to celebrate a soon-to-be mommy!

14.May.2012

COVER ME

I was in a wedding this weekend and spent yesterday picking up my oldest children from the in laws and then a family trip driving home in the rain. Sounds bad written out like that, but it was a lovely day.

14.May.2012

Cover me!

That is SO adorable & would be perfect for me come mid-August and into the fall when I’m due with Baby #2! I spent Mother’s Day enjoying a cookout with our family. Lots of fun and I didn’t have to cook (much) or clean up ;-)

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I’m pregnant with our first! I spent mother’s day hanging out with my hubby-just relaxing around the house! My sisters and I took my mom out for brunch on Saturday morning and had a blast!

14.May.2012

Cover me! As an expectant mom, this was my first mother’s day and my sweet hubby surprised me with flowers.

BTW, YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!

COVER ME!
I spent mothers day at home with my mother. I cut fresh flowers from her garden, baked her scones & set up her new Kindle and put free library books on it. Fun and cheap.

14.May.2012

Please cover me! It is still in the Shhh! period but I have already started to look for great products. This is absolutely wonderful.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! This would be great for when my baby is born in August!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

I am expecting my first child in July, and this would be perfect!

I spent Mother’s Day visiting my grandmother with my mom and my sister, and then we came home and made dinner together; it was low key and lovely. I can’t wait until next Mother’s Day to have my little one with me! (Well, she’s already with me, just with me so that others can see her too…) :)

14.May.2012

COVER ME!!!

Baby number four is due to arrive in six weeks. This would be super useful in the approaching summer months.

My hubby surprised me by replacing our old kitchen sink faucet with a new one…with the “help” of our children…ages 6, 4, and 3, while I was shopping for fruits and veggies at market. He knows my love language!

14.May.2012

Cover Me! (or rather, “Cover my Friend!”) A good friend is due later this summer, and I’d love to give her such a creative and thoughtful gift. Thanks!

14.May.2012

Cover me! Our second little boy is due 7/18 (you know, two weeks or so after moving states). I didn’t have to nurse in public too often with our first, but when I did, I wasn’t completely comfortable with it!
Mother’s Day was sweet; my hubs fixed breakfast and dinner, I got a carnation at church, and sat outside reading during naptime instead of racing around trying to clean toilets and prep dinner stuff =)

14.May.2012

COVER ME!! Baby #6 is set to arrive this fall. I’ve nursed my 5 previous and plan to do so with this one also. This is one of the prettiest most convienent nursing cover-ups I’ve ever seen. I’d love to win this!

14.May.2012

Cover me! I’m pregnant with my first and the world of breastfeeding is a bit overwhelming! I’d love such a beautiful cover to use as I juggle nursing my babe in a few months! Happy mother’s day!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

My husband let me sleep in late while he and the kids drew me pictures. Very cute. The rest of the day was low-key. I kicked husband and kids out to go to the park while I deep cleaned our bathroom. Which sounds bad, but a necessary step before we can re-list our condo, so I was so happy to get it done.

14.May.2012

Cover Me! I’m expecting my first child and this would be great!

14.May.2012

Cover me! This was my last mother’s day as a non-mom (baby’s due in November, so looking forward to celebrating next year!

14.May.2012

WOW – I love this! I am totally going to purchase one – I am pregnant with my first and feel uncomfortable thinking about nursing in public (especially with this being my first). I feel the same way about those HUGE nursing covers … like really? I feel like they just draw more attention to the situation! Beautiful cover, and beautiful mama!

14.May.2012

Cover me! (or cover my friend!) I have a girlfriend who is due in the fall, and this would make a fabulous gift. Even if I don’t win, I’ll most likely buy one for her anyway. These look so cute and perfect for their intended function. Thanks for sharing!

14.May.2012

Cover me! I spent mother’s day with my 2 year old and hubby planting herbs in the garden and had homemade tomato soup for lunch on the patio. It was a beautiful weekend to be outdoors.

14.May.2012

Cover me! I’m stil trying to figure out how to nurse my three-month-old in public, though mostly I think I rely too much on pillows when at home – I can’t get the arms right! Love how cute this is though, especially with jeans.

My first mother’s day was highlighted by breakfast made by hubby, along with him getting up to change our daughter when she woke up early. Saturday we had friends babysit for the first time so we could go to see Avengers. All in all, a wonderful weekend!

14.May.2012

Cover Me! I am due in September with our first and would love this – I checked out the site and the pink and white striped is right up my alley!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! This was my first Mother’s day as an expectant mother. We had brunch at our house with my Mom and my sister who is Mom to my 3 yr old nephew. I cooked, but hubby cleaned and that was gift enough for me! Spent the morning with my two favorite Moms as I prepare to become one.

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

This is adorable! Definitely will come in handy for baby #2!

14.May.2012

Cover Me! I had my very first mother’s day! My son is just 6 weeks old and I agree: nursing in public is difficult! I have yet to master it! On Mother’s Day my husband and son took me to my favorite brunch place, showered me with roses, and let me lay around and not lift a finger. It was incredible!!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! My first baby is due to arrive this Fall and I would adore to have one of these.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! We took our two year old out for ice cream and to play at the park. It was really, really fun. He spent the whole time in the swing, asking to go “too high!”

14.May.2012

Cover me!

I spent Mother’s Day by waking up to my husband installing my new kitchen sink. Then we got the kids ready and went out to lunch with his mom and family. A little while after that we headed up to my mom’s and had a BBQ with my family. It was a great day, even the weather was wonderful. :)

14.May.2012

Cover Me!!!

Due with my second in a few weeks, we took this mother’s day easy. Out for lunch and a trip to the park with my husband and 20 month old.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! My best friend just had baby number two and has been having the same issues, would be a great belated mother’s day gift!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!!

My Mother’s Day was interesting…It started out with pancakes in the letters of ‘MOM’ made by my husband and 2 year old son. While I was waiting on my special pancakes to be ready I cruised through craigslist for patio sets and gas grills. I found a brand new Weber grill and contacted the seller about it. We agreed on a price ($50 less than they were asking!) and we were on our way to look at it and/or pick it up. Turns out that the seller lives in a VERY seedy part of town. My hubby went in the house to check it out while my son and I stayed in the car. He was inside for quite a long time, so I slid into the driver’s seat in case I had to get out of there. My mind started racing…what if all they wanted was money…what if they attack him…Well he eventually showed up at the door carrying grill parts. We got it home and put it together…turned out it was a great deal. But it left us wondering if maybe it’s not good to be so cheap all of the time…even if we did save $200…

14.May.2012

Cover me! It was gardening central at my little slice of heaven all mother’s day. Can’t wait for everything to start greening up here in Alberta!

14.May.2012

14.May.2012

I spent the day with my kids and mother. First we went to church, then we went to a family picnic. During that time, my hubby worked on our kitchen (installing a new butcher block counter and tile backsplash).

14.May.2012

COVER ME!
I spent Mother’s Day with my husband’s family. We had an awesome lunch at Spinato’s, then we went home and my husband finished installing our pantry shelves, and installing our dishwasher! We don’t have kids yet, so that’s it!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I spent my first Mother’s Day with my 2 week old baby hanging around the house, and was treated to 2 hours of uninterrupted time in the morning to get ready and a massage. In the evening we went to my parents for dinner and I didn’t have to lift a finger. Great start to Mothers Days!

14.May.2012

Cover me! My sister just had a beautiful daughter and she would love this!

14.May.2012

Cover Me!!
This will be perfect for my good friend who is expecting, however. And hello cuteness! I wish I could’ve breast fed but no dice. My mother’s day was great. Sully (16mo) took a 2.5 hr nap and then he started to use the Swiffer on his own. He’s seen us do it on lots of occasions and thougth it was fun, I guess. A cleaning toddler? Best mother’s day EVER!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!!

I am currently nursing baby #2 and I have the same issues. I have a nursing cover but I always feel silly with it on. And I think I would have enjoyed nursing my first daughter a lot more if I didn’t feel like I was going to a heat stroke every time I used it!

Cover me!!!

What a beautiful nursing cover! I agree with everything you said. I never liked wearing those other covers when my two kids were nursing. Living in Northern California, we get into the low 100’s during the summer, and they would get so, so hot. This one looks MUCH cooler, and is beautiful!! Thanks for the giveaway!

14.May.2012

Cover me! I would love love this cover. I’m a new mom and have been breastfeeding for 3.5 months and have never done it in public! We did have a big surprise though when we found out Saturday that I’m pregnant with our 4th little one!!! We told our family and friends, but not our kids yet–they are 5,3, & 2–so we’re going to wait a little bit and think of a fun way to tell them! It was a good weekend!

14.May.2012

Cover me!

As a new mom, and a nursing mom, I share your opinion of bib-like nursing covers. This one is SO pretty!

I had a lovely Mothers’ Day – breakfast in bed provided by my husband, a lovely present and card, church and then a yummy dinner cooked by my husband and two brothers in law for myself and my mother in law. No help in the kitchen allowed. Just nice family time. Oh, and I got a nap in there too. That was nice.

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

This is SO cute!

14.May.2012

Cover me! With baby #3 on the way, I SO need this cover! I am the worst at nursing in public and I hate all the typical covers! I’m buying one anyway!

BTW – you are simply gorgeous!

14.May.2012

Cover Me!
I am a new first time mom and would love a pretty cover for nursing in public

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I would this. I too breastfed my first for 18 months and now am doing so with my 3 month old. Nursing public has always been weird for me too. Anything to make it easier would be great.

I too had a great weekend. My husband started early after allowing me to be out alone on Saturday I came home to a surprise dinner of crab legs (one of my favorites!). I didn’t have to do anything except sit down and eat it. It was lovely! Sunday was a little busier with church ans everything but still an enjoyable day.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! Pregnant with my third and would love a lighter cover. We spent the bulk of Mother’s Day packing and getting ready for our move at the end of the month.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! That’s the cutest nursing cover I’ve ever seen. :)

I went to church and lunch with my husband and son then took about 3 hours to go shopping all by myself. It was like a tropical vacation to have some alone time.

Please Cover Me! We spent Mother’s Day getting ready for our upcoming room addition. It was just what I wanted to do :-)

14.May.2012

Cover me!

My husband and I are expecting our first baby this summer. For mother’s day, he made me breakfast in bed and helped me wash, fold, and put away all of our baby’s clothes. Who knew laundry could be so fun?!

I spent mothers day cuddled up in bed…..SICK!

14.May.2012

“COVER ME!”
We spent the weekend at the lake…and so we headed home from the lake. Luckily my 2 year-old napped most of the way home! Once we were home we moved our guest room to our office and our office to a nook in our finished basement… in order to make room for baby #2! Guess nesting is in full effect!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!!! #3 is due to arrive any day now! I totally agree…nursing is public leaves me a bit on edge because I’m convinced that sooner or later I’ll end up exposed & mortified! Love so many things about this cover!

Mother’s Day was so fun & my hubby and kiddos spoiled me with good food, presents from the heart, as well as some quality time!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

We are expecting our first in early September!

14.May.2012

Cover me! We are expecting our first in November and I know this cover up would come in handy!

14.May.2012

Cover me! I spent mothers day with my husband, my 2 year old & 2 month old out at our lake cabin. What a beautiful day throwing rocks in the water, rolling bocce balls down the hill & bug hunting, its the simple things :)

14.May.2012

“COVER ME!”

This is a great cover! I used the bib style with my child (who I am still nursing but no longer in public) and it always felt so obvious.

14.May.2012

So pretty! Please COVER ME! I spent Mother’s Day with my mom and gram, and wanted to tell them that I will hopefully be a mom too, in about 7.5 months, but held off for now.

14.May.2012

Cover me!!

A Mom of a 7- week old girl, 2-year old boy, and 4-year old girl, this nursing cover would be fabulous! What a beautiful option to be discreet, while allowing the “jump-up and chase-down the toddlers” flexibility I need!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

We are expecting our first and Mother’s day was a fun day with my parent’s eating Cheesecake Factory cheesecake…YUM!

14.May.2012

Cover me!

It would make a great gift for my pregnant best friend!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! This is adorable!! I have a 4 month old and often run into problems covering up while nursing him in public. He hates the bib covers and I always end up flashing someone somehow when I just use a blanket.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I’m due with my third in July! I definitely need it!

14.May.2012

Cover ME! Expecting our third in about a month. Love that the cover is so lightweight. Spent my Mother’s Day with my husband and two boys. A highlight was my kids singing “Happy Mother’s Day” to me to the tune of “Happy Birthday :)

14.May.2012

Cover me!! Our first one is on the way – due in November. Hoping and praying that breast feeding will work out for us!! Glad you had a good day yesterday!!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! Breastfeeding is tricky, this would be great!

Mothers day was nice. We had a picnic and got ice cream. Great day!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I’d love something like this. The one I’m using now is a little tricky. This idea is fantastic!

14.May.2012

Cover me! I have a sick toddler, so mothers day was low key. 19 weeks along w #2!

14.May.2012

Cover Me! Spent the day with my family…husband, 2 three year olds and a 6 week old! Lovely day!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!
Enjoyed a day at the lake with my family. Delicious food, relaxing with magazines, good conversation, and playing with the kids.

14.May.2012

Cover me! Mother’s day wasn’t so great – everyone was under the weather.

14.May.2012

Cover me! Oh my lord, yes please. This cover is perfect! I’m constantly rummaging around for the darn blanket to cover up with while I nurse and it’s usually while my toddler is running the opposite direction and my 2 month is screaming to nurse. This would help ;)
I got breakfast in bed, help with chores, and a big family BBQ for mothers day – it was perfect.

14.May.2012

COVER ME!
My husband made me crepes at home for Mothers’ Day. Our first baby is due on Thursday!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! This would be so great – due with baby #2 next week and know how hard it is to find something good to use as a cover.

14.May.2012

Cover me!

I actually had a great Mother’s Day — we found out we’re expecting our first baby!

14.May.2012

Cover me!! I am due with our first baby in 3 weeks and I would get plenty of use out of this!

14.May.2012

14.May.2012

Cover me! I’m not expecting, but my good friend Nellers is busily feeding her bub Piper and I’d love to give her one of these. Thanks as always for the giveaway!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! Whether I win or not, I’m planning to give these to a few new/soon-to-be moms because they look fab!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!!
#3 is on the way, and this would just be SO perfect! Thanks for the giveaway!

14.May.2012

Cover me!! Wow, that cover is really amazing-looking! I love it!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

I’m expecting so I’m not officially a Mom yet but the hubs did let me have control over the remote for most of the day.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! wonderful – love it and woudl be perfect for breastfeeding my 8 week old. I also have two older boys and just had a girl. I spent my mothers day flying kites with my boys

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I’m expecting #2 in July and this would certainly come in handy.

14.May.2012

Cover Me! That is a very cute cover! Still nursing my #4, so would use it this summer. I like the lightweight design.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! Expecting #3 at the end of August and expect to have similar issues that you have with trying to nurse in public (life has to go on even though there’s a newborn!) :)

14.May.2012

These are so beautiful! I’m expecting my first in October. COVER ME!

14.May.2012

Cover me! This would be so helpful for soon-to-be-gestating (hopefully!!) baby #2. With my first I was so shy about breastfeeding out of the house – this would help so much! I had a lovely Mother’s Day spending two hours alone at Starbucks catching up on FOUR backlogged issues of BH&G. Then picking out a beautiful necklace, then going to a big family BBQ at the grandparents’ house. It was perfect.

14.May.2012

Cover me! Baby 2 is due in October and I don’t think I’ll be able to be boobs-out housebound as much this time round. Mother’s day was lovely: lots of cuddles, special breakfast, handmade cards and a visit to my mum on the farm.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I spent Mother’s day at Virginia Beach with my mom and family. My sister is expecting her second. This would be perfect for her!!

14.May.2012

Cover me! #5 due in Sept!

14.May.2012

COVER ME :)

I celebrated my first mother’s (to be) day yesterday with breakfast in bed and a wonderful back rub. Our baby is due in two weeks and this cover would be perfect!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I spent Mother’s Day with my own mom {and hubby and daughter} just like we have since our daughter was born. It was perfect.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! Glad you had a wonderful mother’s day:) The cover ups are beautiful…what a wonderful idea!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! This is the best invention yet! I was too self-conscious to breastfeed my son in public or in front of anyone other than my husband.

By the way, you look amazing!!

14.May.2012

Oh, COVER MEEEE!! I have a baby due in August and I’ve been looking for something like this! I had a great Mother’s Day, my husband made me breakfast!!!

14.May.2012

Cover Me!

I spent Mother’s day at home snuggling with my 4 month old preemie!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! My mother’s day began with breakfast in bed delivered by my dh and 2 kiddos. We did some preparing and had the fam over for a wonderful bbq. I wasn’t allowed to cook or clean up. :)

14.May.2012

Cover me! I spent the day with my hubby and two boys. The weather was beautiful so we took a short road trip and drove over the VA border to NC to a fabulous farm market, Morris Farm Market. We bought some delicious strawberries, tomatoes and a pecan coffee cake.

14.May.2012

cover me! thanks.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! Would love to try this out!!

14.May.2012

I’m about to have #6, so I definitely need you to COVER ME!

14.May.2012

Cover me! I’m having twins in four weeks & cannot figure out how I’m going to do a whole lot of public nursing with zero free hands. I need this!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I spent the day relaxing, breakfast in bed, bath with the house to myself, 3 hour nap and then out to dinner with friends. Awesomeness. :)

14.May.2012

Cover me! We spent mother’s day celebrating our moms since our 1st is still in utero!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I spent mothers day at church and moving. We just bought a house on Friday, so we moved all weekend. I live in total chaos right now.

14.May.2012

Cover me! I have one of those bib types and you are so right-they stink… I feel like I’m constantly moving the fabric so that I can see my baby and it’s just awkward!
I spent my first mother’s day enjoying my 6 week old baby boy and my wonderful husband!

14.May.2012

COVER ME! I spent Mother’s Day visiting family and eating too much food!

14.May.2012

I spent my first Mother’s Day at home caring for a sick newborn :/ My poor little girl… hope she gets better soon!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

I spent my Mother’s Day with my mother-in-law. I am due on June 29th with my first – so next year will be my first official Mother’s Day!

14.May.2012

14.May.2012

COVER ME!
I am 6.5 months pregnant with my first and would love to have one of these!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

My granddaughter turned one day old on Mother’s Day! I would love a Cover Me for my daughter, mother of her first child.

14.May.2012

COVER ME! That is definitely the nicest nursing cover I’ve seen! I spent a quiet Mother’s day with my family just relaxing. I even got to sneak in a nap!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

This cover is beautiful. And I am quite nervous to nurse in public and will actually rush home to avoid doing so. I have a hard time mastering the holding the baby and the blanket at the same time. A cover like this would be perfect and its beautiful!

14.May.2012

COVER ME!

I am expecting my third baby (I have two sons and am expecting my first daughter) in September and would LOVE, love, LOVE to use this. BF is certainly what I plan to do…I did it with my first two.

I’m due in about 7 weeks with baby boy #3 and I too have trouble keeping the blanket in one place once their little grabby hands get ahold of it!

14.May.2012

Cover me! I could use this for a few more months to nurse my baby and then pass it to my sister who is due with her first baby in November.

14.May.2012

14.May.2012

I don’t need it, because I’m never going to be nursing again (three kids is enough, thank you!), but those are some very pretty nursing covers! I would totally buy one if I were preggers.

14.May.2012

How beautiful… cover me!!!

15.May.2012

Cover me!! Pinning this love it!!!

15.May.2012

COVER ME!

I spent my very first Mother’s Day (or as some called it, “Pre-Mother’s Day) with my hubby. He got me a beautiful bouquet of wild flowers, we had lunch and ventured into Baby’s ‘R Us (at his request) then we relaxed for the rest of the night.. it was wonderful. I would love to have this cover up for breast feeding!

15.May.2012

COVER ME!!

Oh man, I could so use this right now. I was JUST thinking today that my cover is so freakin hot that I was practically having a panic attack while trying to nurse my daughter. Plus I love that it’s cute enough to wear as an outfit!

As for mother’s day, we spent the morning having brunch with my folks, then I got to have a really peaceful two hours getting a pedicure and a reflexology massage while my hubs watched the two kiddos. We had a similar evening… pizza and popcorn on the couch while watching ‘Despicable Me.’ Finished it off with a lovely walk in the park with my two-year old.

15.May.2012

cover me!

my husband let me sleep late, ordered us egg sandwiches on bagels, then cooked dinner for me, my mom and my mother in law while we drank wine and played with the baby!

COVER ME!! I love it!

15.May.2012

Cover me! Expecting my first in August!

15.May.2012

COVER ME!

I too struggled with BF my son in public, it was always awkward and uncomfortable. Not to mention, very hot for both of us! Now that number two is on the way those public BF sessions have been in the forefront of my mind, and this would be a wonderful asset!

My Mother’s Day this year was hectic, busy running from church to home, from home to MIL’s house, and then sadly, off to work for the evening. :( It was an exhausting day and night, but I was thankful to spend most of it with family. Most of all, thankful for my family.

15.May.2012

COVER ME! I’m due in 2 weeks’ time with my first baby. So excited about it, and really want to breastfeed him x x x

15.May.2012

Cover me!

I spent mothers day as a first time mom as my son was born just 10 days before!

15.May.2012

COVER ME!!! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I really struggled first time around trying to breastfeed twins. I am determined to stick with it this time with our 3 month old son and so far so good but I feel really uncomfortable breastfeeding him in public. I would love one of these so I don’t feel like I’m ‘letting it all hang out’. Thanks!

15.May.2012

COVER ME! This is too cute. I haven’t seen anyone with something like this before and I love it!

15.May.2012

COVER ME!
I finally got the OK from my husband to start trying for our second on Mother’s Day. We started immediately!

15.May.2012

cover me! :) What a cute cover – and you’re totally right about it looking great to just wear out and about.

Mothers’ day was just like any other day since my husband is working overseas. However, I did make myself and awesome breakfast and I’m sure my husband will figure out a way to spoil me once he gets home in a few weeks!

15.May.2012

COVER ME! i have one of those giant nursing covers and though it works, i also kind of hate it. my hubby and three month old son took me out to breakfast, and then sent me to the spa for a massage. then my hubby cooked me dinner! it was a perfect day. :)

15.May.2012

COVER ME! I’m expecting my first baby and plan on breastfeeding. I have looked around for covers and must agree that none of them really look good. But these are gorgeous I’d love to have one.

15.May.2012

COVER ME!!!!

It was my First Mother’s Day and it’s going to be hard to beat! My honey made me breakfast, we went to church as a family, then I put him to work in the yard, followed by a margarita on the patio. And the weather was perfect! Such a great day with my favourite people :)

And that cover is awesome. I have one that totally announces what we are doing, love how subtle this one is!

I spent my Mother’s day with my in-laws, and we made them breakfast at our place as my mother-in-law completely forgot that it was mother’s day, and at the prospect of brunch, said, “oh no”. I’m expecting my first in July, so this was my first Mother’s Day with people wishing me a happy Mother’s Day!

15.May.2012

15.May.2012

COVER ME!! :) Currently nursing baby #2 ( she’ll be 2 months on the 19th) and this girl loves to eat! With a nearly 2 year old in tow as well, I am nursing in public much more this time around, and I would love an easy way to cover myself up! The cover I have is hard to maneuver around and I always end up just taking it off. Totally exposed myself to the entire table at a restaurant while we were celebrating my dad’s birthday a few weeks ago, ha!!

We spent Mother’s day with my in-laws and that evening I spent nursing my fussy baby in bed while my husband put our son to bed, picked up the house and helped me get caught up on laundry. Love your blog!! :)

I can’t enter this one (no US address) but check this out for amazing ideas on breastfeeding fashion. This link is for part 2, breastfeeding in public, to stay relevant to this post. The whole 6 part series helped me no end when baby was little – I’m still breastfeeding 18 months later (!) but only morning and night, at home; no public breastfeeding of toddlers for me!

I spent Mothers Day on the couch with my 6 year old who had a fever of 105 all day despite many, many doses of ibuprofen and paracetomol. We had to resort to the old fashioned cold compress on the forehead. I felt very in touch with all my great-great-great etc. grandmothers who must have done similar over the millenia. Poor baby.

15.May.2012

Cover me, please, oh please!

Mother’s Day I got breakfast in bed! I have a 3-year-old daughter and 6-month-old daughter, and still breastfeeding exclusively my little baby. The cover looks awesome!

15.May.2012

Cover me! This was my first mothers day. I spent it with my 5day old daughter and wonderful hubby. This would be great, I am very modest and am having a hard time with nursing around people.

16.May.2012

Cover Me!

My mother’s day was great! My baby slept 7 straight hours after her midnight feeding, which means I got 7 straight hours too! Got up and hung out with my two girls, before getting ready for a backyard BBQ with my parents, sister and niece. After they all left got both girls down for naps at the same time, yay, so I got to hang out on the deck with a book and a cool beverage for an hour or two.

I would love something gorgeous to give baby #4 a private place for a feed so she isn’t so distracted. Just gorgeous designs!
Mother’s Day was spent celebrating our mother’s (now grandmother’s) over a lovely lunch. I didn’t wash any dishes or clothing either – bliss!

Cover me!

That cover is adorbs and I am in search of one for the babe that is due in 5w 1d (not like I’m counting). I spent my Mother’s Day with my amazing husband and son. We planted flowers and hung around the house all day. It was nice.

Cover Me! I’m having my baby girl in July!

16.May.2012

COVER ME! We are TTC #2 and this would be a huge improvement over the covers I used for #1. I bfed for 13 months, so I need something that’s in it for the long haul. My Mothers Day was wonderful – who doesn’t like breakfast in bed, delivered by an adorable 2 year old?

16.May.2012

Cover Me! This is a great giveaway!

16.May.2012

Cover me! I love the teal, definitely the best of the bunch for my style and coloring.

16.May.2012

Cover Me!

Sooo cute!

16.May.2012

Oh these covers are amazing! Cover Me, Please! I have a 5 week old baby girl and without fail anytime we leave the house she needs to nurse. I’m always struggling with a blanket, this cover would be the perfect solution.

16.May.2012

Cover me! I completely agree with you on the nursing cover = mega bib thing and have never been able to make myself get one. Nope, blanket clenched between the teeth for me. But this would be awesome!

16.May.2012

Cover me! We celebrated mothers day a few days earlier. My husband gave me a watch with silver and gold to represent our 2 sons, a 3 year old and a 4 week old. I don’t know how you go out with your 2 boys and your newborn. I’ve been too afraid to try. Thankfully I’ve been able to have my husband or a friend watch my 3 year old at times. You should have gotten a super mom sticker for mothers day! ;)

16.May.2012

Cover me! This would be perfect for my SIL

16.May.2012

Cover me! Great giveaway :)

16.May.2012

Cover me! I spent Mother’s Day caring for my newborn! Not very glamorous, but we are still in survival mode with this one. :)

16.May.2012

COVER ME! That really is the cutest breastfeeding cover I have seen! I have a 4 year old (will be delivering my second baby in August) and I didn´t even bother trying to buy one last time cause I just didnt like any of them…
Mother´s day was great!Had lunch with the whole family(Italian family so you imagine how it is), that turned into afternoon tea and dinner… lol

16.May.2012

Cover Me!
I made my own nursing cover using a tutorial I found online that had the boning it so you could see your baby nicely. It worked great till I lost it at the Greene (Dayton dweller myself :)).
I spent mothers day at home with 1 sick little boy then my fam of four went out to lunch and recooped from out weeks vacation the week before.

16.May.2012

COVER ME!

My husband made pancakes and we played silly games on the floor with our 10 month old who’s just started crawling. Then we spent the afternoon giving our garage a good shakedown and tossing/donating a bunch of stuff we don’t need or want anymore. Very freeing!

16.May.2012

Cover Me! My daughter showed up 5 weeks early so I could have a mothers day this year instead of waiting until next year. Since she is a preemie I am even more dedicated to breastfeed her then I initially thought I would be. This cover would make summer a lot easier. Take care all!

Cover me!

I enjoyed some lovely homemade cards and dances on Mother’s Day.

17.May.2012

COVER ME!

This was my very first mother’s day- we had our baby girl on April 24th. My own mom actually drove 4 1/2 hours up to spend some time with us- I got to go back to church (first time after having the baby) then we made brunch (french toast- my favorite!), and my husband changed EVERY SINGLE diaper for the day. I also took a long (2 hour) nap and a very sweet friend brought dinner over. It was a wonderful day…

And I hear ya about nursing in public- I have yet to figure out how to use the traditional nursing covers or feel like I’m not completely exposing myself while nursing. Keeping my fingers crossed!

17.May.2012

Cover me! It was my first mother’s day because my son was born May 1 st. I had a lovely day with my new family :)

17.May.2012

COVER ME!!!

I am 6 months pregnant and so ready to welcome our sweet baby girl in August! I LOVE this cover. Beautiful and perfect in so many ways! Thanks for sharing it with us!

For mother’s day, my sweet hubby (a photographer) took me out to take maternity pictures…something we put off for quite sometime. This was fun! We then went to hang out with him mom and went to parade of homes- a family tradition! We then grilled out and hung out as a family all day! Simple and fun! :-)

17.May.2012

17.May.2012

17.May.2012

i have a 16-month old daughter and i am still breastfeeding her and i will be as long as i can…

as much as possible i do not breastfeed her anymore in public- only when we’re home because she drinks milk from her sippy cup already…

17.May.2012

COVER ME! I am looking for a nursing cover so I can leave the house. I have one, but it gets my baby and I all sweaty underneath, so that apron doesn’t work. This is exactly what I am looking for! Mother’s day was great – just relaxed with the family!!

07.March.2013

Do you mind me asking what size cover you are wearing? I am trying to order one and have a hard time deciding which size to get.

07.March.2013

I’m petite…it’s the smallest size.
