With two little ones running around and working/caring for them/laundry/etc. I have yet to have time to really put a personal touch on most of the house. There is not a room finished decor wise in the house. It is driving me batty and what is even more scary is we have a whole 1300+ sq ft basement that needs to be completely finished…eventually!

Just installed ceramic tiles that look like hardwood in the entire first floor of the house and the grout had me pulling my hair out since it dried two shades lighter than the color on the bag! However, a little paint and sealer has quickly taken care of that. :) Next up – painting the kitchen cabinets!

I can’t decide what to do with our master that is not to feminine or masculine. HELP

I’M MOODY! and I’m moving in June. My problem is how to combine 15 feet of bookshelves with the furniture I have into a long skinny living room and still have room to move around.

I’M MOODY!!! My living room has me down. We just purchased a beautiful new 5 piece sectional and leather chair. Unfortunately, the room now just looks like a crappy room with amazing furniture. I can’t figure out what to do to spruce it up, especially with the huge wall of knotty pine paneling that my husband refuses to let me paint/ tear down.

I’d have to choose my great room…I want to replace my old sofa with a big sectional but can’t work up the courage to pull the trigger (what if it’s too big? What if the color isn’t right? Etc.). And then what to keep/change everywhere else in the space? I’m stuck.
