Funny! I was just walking next to a wall at work painted nearly the same color of the wall in your picture. I thought of the very same yellow and orange shades and then thought I have probably been reading too many home blogs!

We have that same step stool … did you add anything to the bottom of it to prevent it from skidding/sliding?

No, I haven’t added pads or anything to the feet. We’ve had it for years and haven’t had problems with it sliding so I’ll probably leave it as-is.
