WHILE YOU’RE AT IT: Since surfing conjures up visions of sandy shores, blue skies, and crystal clear water, let’s talk vacation! Share your vacation plans for this year. I’ll go first. Nada. I got nothing. With a move in the very, very near future {more on that later!}, HH and I haven’t even thought about going on vacation. Especially with a baby – who detests her car seat – in tow! Plus, once we break out of this apartment and start living it up in a house, it’s sure to feel somewhat like a vacation. In the past, we’ve even spent our vacation time on staycations to tackle home improvement projects and to check out local attractions that we can’t seem to make time for during our normal busy schedules. So there’s a good chance if we weren’t renovating or moving, we’d choose to stay home anyway. That being said…what I wouldn’t give for a chaise lounge, the hot sun beating down on my toned bikini-ready bod {…do you smell the sarcasm here? Remember, I just had a baby so this is purely me dreaming…}, and a sweaty piña colada in my hand which would prompt a long, outdoor afternoon snooze. Oh! And babysitters! Cheap ones. So, PLEASE, share your vacation plans with me and I’ll live vicariously through you.
