My feathers are ruffled waiting for our kitchen demo to be finished. It’s just punch list items – but it’s keeping me from putting things away in their new home and finally organizing! There’s a light at the end of the tunnel – I just can’t get there. …

RUFFLE ME!

My feathers are ruffled because I’ve been resting and icing my knee from a fall that took place over 3 weeks ago and it’s still not back to 100%. I’m so frustrated from sitting still and most of all, not exercising!

RUFFLE ME! My feathers were ruffled as we waited for MONTHS for the financing to come through so we can begin building our new home. Now it’s in place, though, so we’ll be breaking ground any day!

RUFFLE ME! My feathers are ruffled when someone commits to doing something & doesn’t follow through.

RUFFLE ME! We recently moved into a new construction townhome. Everything is builder grade. We got a good start on making things more personalized, but we are now at a stand still until we can get our fund up a little more. Impatiently waiting……..but soon enough and it will reflect us. Can’t wait.

I’m ruffled and flustered today because I have tons of things to do around the house and it is so steamy hot (no A/C) that I can’t even manage to think straight let alone complete any tasks.

Going to get my glucose test done. Chugging the drink, waiting the one hour, then going back to get my blood drawn when they realize I hadn’t been checked in yet. When they go to check me in I tell them I’m a self pay client and they inform me that nobody there has access to the cash register, so I’ll have to come back and do it again some other time.

I was ruffled yesterday b/c my hubs and I are building a bed for our son, and we kept having to make trips to Lowes because we kept realizing we didn’t have exactly the things we needed. Ugh, frustrating!

And if you need any advice on the water & wood issue, email me. I’m an IICRC certified restoration project manager and this is what I do. I’m a big fan of the underdog and I hate to hear it had a run in with water! :-( hope it’s dry and on the mend shortly and wasn’t too much damage.

Last night we got a big storm and the windows that we JUST had fixed (one is even brand new) leaked! Water poured in. Now we might have to take the windows out and put them back with extra weather proofing.

Swimming lessons where I end up doing more teaching than the instructor. I’m doing a Mom and Tot class with my son and the instructor gives us absolutely no guidance, no ideas. Nothing. I know they’re not so supposed to be doing the butterfly at 2, but a little creativity is always appreciated.

We’re working on so many house projects that every room seems to be unorganized & chaotic now…I’m feeling claustrophobic & my feathers are definitely ruffled!

The new uniform policy at my daughter’s school. (She’s in first grade.) They have updated it to outlaw colored or patterned socks, hair accessories and belts. Only white, navy or grey is allowed, along with their monotone polos and pants. Which will make all the little children appear as though they are mini versions of leaders of communist countries. Yuck.

It’s the littlest thing, but our dishwasher is broken and I cannot seem to catch up on the endless number of dishes the hubs and I dirty on a daily basis. One homecooked meal completely overwhelms our drying rack and then that pushes more dished onto the next day. There always seems to be a dish lingering around and its driving me bonkers!

I’m ruffled becaused we’re dealing with our insurance company for a claim and realized we’ve been paying $1,100 more a year than their competitors with double the deductable (Liberty Mutual)! So shopping for new home insurance is dreadful, but I’m excited about the savings we’ll see soon!

I’m ruffled because during a recent chaotic office moment, my coworker sat at her desk putting her makeup on while the rest of us tried to resolve the incident. BOO!

Also, sorry about your water issues. Our neighbors were on vacation and came home to find their water heater that was in their attic had torn at the seams. It happened in February and they are still having issue from it. They had to gut the entire downstairs!

Our major house renovation…. I had to clean my mother-in-law’s house instead of getting things done at my house because she had guests coming. She had a very productive weekend at her”camp” and kept rubbing it in. Oh I was ruffled all right!

My husband got laid off so his boss could hire his friend’s agency to do the work. Granted, my husband hated his job but still, we have a mortgage and bills to pay so it sucks.

My feathers have been ruffled (and pulled out) by a piece of furniture that I’m working on… it’s so humid that the stain won’t dry and I try to put the piece outside so my 6 month old won’t breathe fumes and dust sticks to the sticky/tacky top and then I drill holes for hardware in the wrong place and have to spackle my newly palnted and waxed drawers…. ugh!!!!

Ruffle me! My feathers have been ruffled this summer by the large number of adults(strangers!) that choose to discipline my children rudely & inappropriately right in front of me. And my kids haven’t even been making bad choices, just guilty by association because they are kids & the adult stranger hasn’t had a good experience with kids lately. I say to the adult stranger “Talk to the parent first, kids second!” Feathers Ruffled!

My feathers have been ruffled this summer with full time school and full time work! I give credit to those who do this every quarter! I am at my wits end with school and work but I try to take it one day at a time (so I don’t spontaneously freak out with all the stress).

What ruffles my feathers is ….. I’m a licensed THERAPEUTIC foster parent.. we take in either “regular” or “therapeutic” foster kids… Regular are just normal kids whose parents are the issue…. Therapeutic are when the kids have issues and the parents can’t handle them…. anyway to the point… what ruffles my feathers are these parents that either can’t handle their own kids or who have problems themselves (drugs, alcohol, mental etc)seem to think they can still tell me how to run my home! If you can’t or won’t parent your own children …. what makes you think you still should have any say in how I handle my home.

Ruffling feathers – ugh – I just read some replies that I agree to – we left on vacation & asked a neighbor to water our flowers. She missed some & they all looked half dead & sooo sad when we returned!! ugh!! but they are making a comeback – even in the WI heat we’re having!!

RUFFLE ME! My feathers have been ruffled this summer because the Hot water heater went = ICE cold showers for everyone!!!! Surgery for one daughter, wisdom teeth being pulled for another. Trying to get ready to send firstborn off to college! What a summer! I would love to get one of these pillows for my daughter to take with her to college for her dorm. They are so cute!

This summer heat! I am 8 1/2 months pregnant with our third (so excited), but very uncomfortable with the 100+ degree temps.

My feathers got ruffled Monday morning… after spending Sunday planting my summer vegetable garden I found find my little friends with actual feathers had started pecking at the seedlings! I purchased some shiny pinwheels to spin in the breeze and scare them away! Problem solved.

Finally getting completely moved into my apartment after two years (with the exception of the random and awesome finds/deals), only to find out that I need to move to another area for work asap. While trying to find an apartment I have also been trying to pack up as much as possible, but haven’t been able to find a place to live!!! so half of my apartment is packed, along with all my decorations off my walls :( ughhh really ruffles my feathers not having a cute apartment right now but a nasty cluttered one!!! :(
