Sometimes those fresh flowers come all the way from a mineral rich volcano in Ecuador BECAUSE I’M WORTH IT. Ha! In all seriousness, The Bouqs is a new and easy flower delivery service that delivers fresh bouquets directly to your door from the farm. The farm practices sustainable, responsible farming as certified by The Rainforest Alliance. Flowers are cut the day before they’re shipped so they arrive fresh and last longer. (The bouquets are so fresh that it sometimes takes a few days for the flowers to fully open.) Prices are competitive because there are no middle men and no tacky add-ons like stuffed animals and candy. All you get is a lush bouquet wrapped in simple kraft paper.

My not-so-guilty pleasure is flowers, too! I love them on my coffee table, even if no one ever sees them besides me. The Marshmallow bouquet was my favorite. What a fun giveaway!

I love buying fresh flowers to fill up my apartment. They always add a lot of cheer which is especially nice since we’re still getting snow on the East Coast and all I want is spring! The Fearless bouquet is beautiful.

I love the Campfire bouquet! Ranunculus are my favorite.

“Guilty” pleasures?

Drinking beer at my favorite moto tavern because I am “community building.”

Going for a leisurely walk with my dog instead of hitting the gym because “he’s been so good.”

Pie for breakfast because “fruit is a freebie.”

Sleeping in — way in — on weekends because “rest is an immunity and metabolism booster.”

Gosh, I could go on forever!

The Fearless bouquet is perfect for us! I would love to get flowers every once in a while (wink, wink).

reply )

30.March.2015

There’s nothing really “guilty” about any of your pleasures – they all just sound like pleasures to me! I like to lay out in the sun – that’s definitely a bad one!

reply )

30.March.2015

The Affinity bouquet is awesome! But those yellow roses are so beautiful too!

reply )

30.March.2015

One of my main guilty pleasures is buying fresh flowers! I’m a sucker for ranunculus, so I’d pick the Cake n’ Cream or the Eccentric if I really needed a pop of color.

Other guilty pleasures include: eating 5 cookies worth of dough before it goes in the oven; watching a TV show during an ‘extended’ lunch when I’m feeling fried as a ‘brain break’. I also LOVE buying coffee that I did not make, even if it’s just drip. Something about it appearing in a cup hot and ready for a splash of cream makes it so much better than making it at home.

reply )

30.March.2015

Affinity. It’s tough to pass up a bouquet with a succulent!

reply )

30.March.2015

Guilty pleasures you ask? Downton Abbey (I’m way behind), Green Matcha Boba Tea (seriously like 400 calories), Game of Thrones, Maxi Dresses = stylish yet still lazy, online clothing subscription sites.

I LOVE the Eccentric bouq – beautiful ranunculus!

reply )

30.March.2015

The Joshua tree boquet is so beautiful! Probably my favorite:) As far as guilty pleasures go…I’ve been known to shut myself in the pantry to enjoy a candy bar all to myself without my kids begging for a bite.

reply )

30.March.2015

So hard to decide! I love Cake and Cream and the Fearless bouquets!

reply )

30.March.2015

I love love love the Affinity bouquet! I’ve been buying Trader Joe’s flowers alot recently, but they rarely last the week, probably because its impossible to know how long they’ve been in the store. Definitely going to try The Bouqs to see if I get more bang for my buck!

I’ve recently added buying flowers as one of my guilty pleasures as well! Maybe it’s the long winter (in MI) and the need for anything spring-related! But who really needs a reason for pretty flowers :)

I love the Desperado and You Rock bouquets. I have family in Ecuador and the last time I was there they took me to a local rose farm. IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE ON EARTH!!!

I fell in love with Vibrance. Not because it is what I would usually pick but because it was what my Mom would have picked. She passed away a little under 6 months ago and lately I’ve been thinking about her. She would have picked this bright bunch of flowers right away.

30.March.2015

I think my guiltiest pleasure is buying expensive cheese and then eating way too much of it. Seriously though, these flowers look beautiful in your home. I actually got to drive along the rose fields in Ecuador and it’s a lovely area (even if it’s a little hard to breathe at that altitude). A bouquet there is $4, but considering what it takes to get there, Bouqs is a steal.

reply )

30.March.2015

Ooh, I love the names of these bouquets! I would swoon over the soft white color of “Sincere.”

And my guilty pleasures – having a glass (or two of wine) at night. It gets me relaxed

reply )

Guilty pleasure is definitely fresh flowers. I love the Lavendaria de Cali. Also, cookies before noon.
